I won’t write as much about this trip because they’re Cody’s friends and I’ve only met them a handful of times. What I can say is that they came to visit for 3 days and we wished they could’ve stayed longer because we had entirely too much fun. We started out by renting canoes and paddling around Town Lake!
And we ate burgers from Sandy’s, a South Austin staple that’s been around for over 20 years:
We stood in line to eat super delicious barbeque at 11 in the morning and drank free beer:
We drank beer (and alcoholic apple cider) from one of my favorite places, a hip bar called Radio and ate delicious tacos:
And we ended the weekend with a hike up Mt. Bonnell for a scenic view of downtown Austin. By this time the girls are really tired of me insisting on taking ‘just one more’ picture:
